The theme for INCM Lapland 2017 is Impact/Intact. The theme is visible throughout INCM not only in the location and program of the event, but also in its organization. The theme aims to explore the impact our choices have both domestically and professionally, and how consciously we make these altering choices. The theme strives to spark consideration in everyone to evaluate and compare the permanency of the impact their choices have with surroundings that would otherwise remain intact. In addition, the theme will guide each discussion and debate during the event.
The video acts as an introduction to the theme Impact/Intact and its undeniable link to the setting of this year’s INCM in Oulu and Inari. INCM Lapland 2017 will take its participants on a journey from a Nordic urban setting, through sparsely inhabited areas, all the way north where the untouched lands of Inari flourish in their natural state and where the mark of mankind can rarely be seen.
